Arranging Flowers: Video instruction for creating a winter-inspired design

Jennifer and her team ushered in the New Year with the first of eight classes to be held this year in our Leesburg, Virginia studio. While she reviewed some of the most basic techniques of floral design, Jennifer helped the class tackle a very sophisticated arrangement. “I was really impressed with the arrangements that left the studio last Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. This was a complex design and many of our students were attending our class for the very first time. I do think that students learn more about floral design when they are asked to work outside of their comfort zone. My staff and I were there to help, of course. But, I know that I really began to grasp significant techniques when I tackled designs that had more flower varieties intended for a more artful shape.”
